Accessibility statement
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This website, developed and maintained by the Very High Energy Group for Astrophysics (VHEGA) at IAA-CSIC, aims to be accessible in accordance with Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018 on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications.
This statement applies to vhega.iaa.es, including its member intranet.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with Royal Decree 1112/2018, which requires the WCAG 2.1 level AA criteria of standard UNE-EN 301549:2022, because of the issues and exemptions listed below.
Content that is not accessible
Lack of compliance
- PDF documents uploaded by members, such as theses, have not been checked and may lack tags, headings or text alternatives (WCAG 1.1.1, 1.3.1, 2.4.2).
- Texts written by members (biographies, notes, meeting minutes) may not use headings or descriptive link texts correctly (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.4).
- The website has not yet been tested with screen readers, so problems that automated tools and keyboard testing cannot detect may remain.
Exempt content
- The map in the intranet QR code statistics is an online map; the same information (countries and devices) is also shown as lists.
- Content from third parties that we do not control, such as journal websites, NASA ADS or profile pictures hosted on other websites.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 15 October 2026 by self-assessment: automated checks with axe-core 4.13 (WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules) of every public page and every intranet page, and manual keyboard testing of navigation, forms and dialogs. It was last reviewed on 15 October 2026 and will be reviewed at least once a year.
